since high school, I’ve had a chronic condition in my drawing hand, and it gets overwhelmed easily. Sometimes, the pain is so intense that I can’t even lift an empty cup. When drawing with colored pencils or ink pens, my hand flares up after just one piece.
But with the iPad, I’ve never had this problem. I’m incredibly grateful that I can now experiment with techniques I had to avoid for so long. I work on the iPad at A4 size with a 500dpi resolution, for me, the perfect balance. It allows me to paint small details with precision while still having enough layers to work comfortably.
With Procreate, I can customize my brushes exactly how I want. I even incorporate my own drawings and textures, making each piece a kind of mixed-media blend between traditional and digital art.
I'm so happy to finally be able to share my traditional resources with you after working on them for so long!
I’ve actually been working with customized tools in my art for many years. I first started with Photoshop, scanning textures from my traditional artwork and integrating them into brushes. Inspired by the new possibilities in Procreate, I set out on a mission to fully recreate my traditional art digitally. With this set, I’ve brought traditional art to my iPad, allowing me to draw anytime, anywhere, even while relaxing on the couch.
My resources are ideal for artists who want to add a special touch to their creations. All brushes and textures are highly versatile and have been carefully developed over the course of several months. Now that the set is finally ready for download, I’m excited to share it with you!
I originally created the SKETCH HATCH brush as a free brush, and you can still download it anytime! However, I have now also released an Extended version, featuring a total of 100 brushes.
The SKETCH HATCH Extended Brushest includes:
• 26 Smooth brushes
The first 26 brushes in this set have a softer texture, and when you reduce their size, you can use them to create beautiful, organic outlines.
• 28 Diagonal brushes
The next 28 brushes are expanded versions of the free Sketch Hatch brush, with half of them running diagonally to the left and the other half diagonally to the right. These can also be used for outlining or to create interesting textures in shading.
Additionally, the set includes:
• 10 Cross Hatch textures
• 18 Vertical brushes
• 18 Horizontal brushes
The last two types do not repeat and have unique textures of their own. You can adjust their direction simply by rotating your iPad.
I’m also working on new brushes for various traditional techniques. My ultimate goal is to digitally replicate everything I had in traditional art, while adding even more creative possibilities that wouldn't be feasible with physical media. Alongside the set of 100 brushes, I’ve also included a special extra, a traditional sketch paper texture as a PSD file, designed exactly the way I integrate textures into my own artwork. It’s also set to the same size I typically work with.
In this setup, the texture layer is placed at the bottom, and new layers are added above for drawing. I’ve marked one layer with “Your Art Goes Here” for easy placement. Additionally, I’ve duplicated the same texture layer and placed it on top in Multiply mode, so the grain naturally blends into your drawing.
If you’re working on a drawing that doesn’t require bright colors, you can also set your sketch layers to Multiply, allowing your artwork to seamlessly merge with the texture beneath it.
Since I personally benefited from educational versions as a student—where I could access full versions of software for only half the original price, I decided to offer affordable options here as well.

ACADEMIC VERSION
This version includes the complete SKETCH HATCH Extended with 100 brushes for Procreate and a Sketch Paper Texture PSD.
The Academic Version includes the same features as the Commercial Version, but is designed for students, hobby artists, and anyone looking to practice and explore without financial pressure.
My goal is to make creative tools accessible to everyone, allowing artists of all budgets to experiment, learn, and create without limitations.
COMMERCIAL VERSION
This version includes the complete SKETCH HATCH Extended, featuring 100 brushes for Procreate and a Sketch Paper Texture PSD.
With the Commercial Version, you are free to use the artworks you create with these brushes and textures for any commercial purposes, whether for client projects, merchandise, or your own business endeavors. However, reselling or redistributing the brushes and textures themselves is strictly prohibited.

FREE VERSION
This version includes the SKETCH HATCH brush. As a heartfelt thank-you for all the incredible support, I’ve created this unique free sketch brush for you!
This isn’t your average pencil brush, it’s thoughtfully designed to replicate the experience of using traditional art, letting you smoothly layer and deepen tones by adjusting your stroke pressure and layering techniques.
The file size is just 4 MB, so it’s quick and easy to download. I hope you love using it as much as I loved creating it!
Caution: Very large files! Please make sure you have Wi-Fi for downloading.
To ensure the highest possible quality for your artwork, the brush set with the 100 brushes is 483,9 MB in size.
The PSD file with the texture is also 222,4 MB, while the single SKETCH HATCH brush (free version) is 4,3 MB.
How to Use – Download & Install Your Brushes
How to Download from Gumroad
• First, select the version you’d like to purchase.
• Click the “I Want This” or “Add to Cart” button on the product page.
• Enter the corresponding amount for the version you want.
• Provide your email address.
• Click “Buy” to complete the transaction.
• The files are stored directly on Gumroad and can be downloaded instantly after purchase. If multiple files are included in the set, they will be organized in a folder.
• You can access your downloads anytime by logging into your Gumroad account and navigating to your Library. Additionally, you will receive a download link on the confirmation page and via email.
How to Import a Downloaded Brush Set into Procreate
On iPad (Recommended Method):
• Locate the downloaded file in your Files app (usually in the “Downloads” folder).
• Open Procreate and go to the Brush Library.
• Tap the “+” icon in the top-right corner to add a new brush.
• Select "Import" and navigate to your downloaded brush file (.brush or .brushset).
• Tap the file, and it will automatically appear in your Brush Library! 🎨
Alternative Drag & Drop Method
• Open Procreate.
• Open the Files app in split-screen mode.
• Drag the .brushset file directly into the Brush Library in Procreate.
